What: Winter Barn Sale (Garage Sale)
Sale benefits Farming Missions, Starter Flocks, and Wool Mills in remote locations around the world. Locally, the sale benefits Rural Veterinary Outreach.
When: Thursday February 4, Friday February 5, Saturday February 6, 2021 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Rain or shine
Where: Tour Barn at Shepherd's Cross - 16792 East 450 Road, Claremore OK.
The sale is indoors and heated. Free cider & hot beverages will be available.
Additional Information:
This is a Huge, Multi-Family Garage Sale of donated articles. Numerous items for sale, something for everyone including: appliances, antiques, furniture, wall decor, housewares, DVDs, farm and garden items, children's games and toys, home decorator items, bedding, office supplies, books and collectibles, as well as clothing for the entire family. Proceeds of the sale benefit the 2021 agricultural based mission outreach to orphanages, and rural impoverished peoples, as well as local Rural Veterinary Outreach programs. 100% of funds from the barn sale will go directly towards the projects. They include starting a Wool Mill at a cost of $1,000 each. A Starter Flock of sheep at a cost of $500 each. And an Educational Outreach for each nation which cost approximately $500 per class. Monetary Donations towards these missions are greatly appreciated and any items you would like to donate for the sale are graciously accepted. Please drop off your donations at the barn Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 - 5:30 through Jan 30th. A tax deductible receipt provided upon request.
In addition, the following activities are always available at the farm (on a donation basis):
Touring the educational & interactive Farm Museum & Silo
Touring the Bible Garden - guided or self-guided
Spinning and Wool Mill demonstration
Shepherd's Shop is open, featuring a host of "woolly" and farm related handmade gifts crafted by Shepherd's Cross and over 50 local crafters. Shepherd's Cross features farm fresh, Animal Welfare Approved, pasture raised, free range, chemical free American lamb meat, and beef, Farm Fresh honey & Farm Raised walnuts and pecans.
Additionally the shop features a mission section; purchases made in this section of the store return 100% of the sale price to mission organizations. These handmade items come from missions directly supported by Heart of the Shepherd around the world (including Afghanistan, India, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Malawi, Thailand, Africa, Russia, and Uganda).
Shepherd's Cross is an accredited Agritourism facility, a Made in Oklahoma Company, and is Animal Welfare Approved.

February 6th - In-person at ahhhMazing Life Studio in Wylie, TX (max 8 attendees)
February 20th - In-person at Move Studio in Dallas, TX (max 12 attendees)
Hours for both workshops:
1:00p - 3:00p CST

Description:
Yoga and Mindfulness workshop for youth ages 12-18 who want to improve emotional and physical stability, performance in school and other activities, build confidence and feel calm no matter what life throws your way.
Activities include:
-Yoga practice to develop mental and physical stability, balance, flexibility and calm
-Conscious breathing for creating calm when you need it most
-Mindful communication to learn how to listen and talk to each other
-Kindness activity to develop compassion and empathy
-Mindful games to cultivate connection
-Journaling for self-reflection

Jennifer Gaona presents for teachers the ins and outs of "Who Done ? A Presidential Investigation" for elementary and secondary students. Viewers can ask Mrs. Gaona, a well-established leader of curriculum, questions about tailoring this program to their classroom.
"Who Done it? A Presidential Investigation" challenges students to analyze primary source quotes, images and speeches of war-time presidents.

Join this celebration honoring Presidents and their trains!
This historical overview begins in 1833 with President Andrew Jackson, the first president to ride in a train. Highlighted will be the unique train stories of President Abraham Lincoln, President Warren Harding, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President Harry S. Truman, First Lady Lady Bird Johnson's "Special" train campaign for President Lyndon Johnson, President Dwight Eisenhower, and President George H.W. Bush. It shows trains continue to make a strong connection for people with their presidents.

"Bush News" challenges challenges students to look deeper at several pieces of major legislation, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Clean Air Act.
